Blend and drink immediately on waking, before anything else.
Beetroot is the most studied natural food for nitric oxide production — it provides dietary nitrates that the body converts directly into nitric oxide in the blood vessels. Pomegranate contains punicalagins that protect the nitric oxide that is produced from breaking down too quickly. Watermelon powder provides L-citrulline, which the body converts to L-arginine — the amino acid that is the direct precursor to nitric oxide synthesis. Together these three work on every stage of the nitric oxide pathway.
The breathing practice:
Every morning after the drink, before breakfast — ten minutes of nasal breathing only. Breathe in through the nose for four counts, hold for two, out through the nose for six. The nasal passage produces nitric oxide directly. Nasal breathing floods the blood with it. Mouth breathing produces none.
The evening walk:
Thirty minutes minimum, immediately after the evening meal. Walking after eating diverts blood flow to the muscles and stimulates nitric oxide release in the vascular walls. The timing matters — walking two hours after eating has a fraction of the effect.
